“Flaming Flappers” (1925), directed by Fred Guiol, is a delightful silent comedy short. The film revolves around Glen and his friends, who attend a co-ed school and have a thoroughly enjoyable time. Glen becomes engaged to one of the fair co-eds, but things take an amusing turn when they decide to visit Glen’s family. Enlisting the aid of a rickety old car, they embark on their journey, facing hilarious challenges along the way. To complicate matters further, they decide to adopt an orphan baby during their trip. Most of the comedy centers around Glen’s efforts to keep the old car running and the uproar they cause at home when they arrive with the baby.
