A photo from the Bain News Service, an agency with a collection of photographs that documented local, national, and international news events, with a special emphasis on people and events in New York City. The range of subjects covered included celebrities, parades, sports events, immigration, political events, aviation, World War I, and the Mexican Revolution. Most of the images date from the 1900s to the mid-1920s, but some can be found as early as the 1860s and as late as the 1930s.
