Nash Motors, founded in 1916 by Charles W. Nash, was an American automobile manufacturer based in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Their early success came from building cars that offered “honest worth at a price level” accessible to a wide market. Notable innovations included an early heating and ventilation system, unibody construction, and seat belts. In 1954, Nash merged with Hudson Motors to form American Motors Corporation (AMC), continuing Nash automobile production until 1957.
